I suspect you'll be seeing a lot of these this summer

Pictures from the park, that is, now that Emily's out of school for the summer. Luckily, our favorite park is pretty well-shaded, so hopefully we'll be able to go there even on steamy mornings. I took these on our first day of summer vacation, last week.

You may notice that most of them are of Abby. That's because Emily is so hard to keep up with at the park!

Abby enjoyed trying to climb up onto this slide.

She was particularly proud of herself when she discovered her ability to climb onto the bottom step of this apparatus.

This was a lot of fun. Abby couldn't quite climb all the way up to Emily, but she sure gave it the old college try!

Emily was rooting her on, cheering, "Come on, Abby!"

And she also cracked up every time Abby fell.

I think these facial expressions on the little rocket are hilarious.
