Baby-pattern baldness
Emily's losing some of her baby hair, such as it is, in a funny pattern. The hair just above that thick stuff in the back (her mullet) is being rubbed off from all her head-tossing when she sleeps -- she's often a really restless sleeper and she shakes her head back and forth, apparently rubbing those little hairs off.

Mine both lost their hair in the back like that. Once she starts sitting up and crawling it grows back! :)
