A visit to the Science Museum

Emily has had a couple of days off from school recently, and I know better than to try to keep everyone happy at home all day long, so on one such day, we visited the Science Museum. When we were loading up the car, Emily saw me putting Abby's stroller in the back; she insisted that her baby come in her stroller, too. So we both strolled our babies through the museum. Em showed her baby the gift shop.

Then we headed down to look at the fish. Does this look at all familiar?
Lucky for us, Em had her binoculars on hand, so she got a really good look at the fish.

We headed into the preschool area before leaving, and Abby got her first taste of stair-climbing.

She pretty much loved it.
I'm pretty sure I took this next picture right before she tumbled down the steps a little bit. She was fine -- they're not steep at all and are pretty soft.
Emily tried on some wings and antenae.
Abby moved to more solid ground to chew on Emily's binoculars.

And no trip to the Science Museum is complete without a kiss for the frog!

The original fish photo is one of my all time favorites. Can't believe all this has happened in such a short time. GML
