INJURED!

We suffered a major tragedy at the Ireland house this afternoon. Emily was following me down the hall with a pacifier in her mouth. She fell face first, like she often does, and she must have landed directly on the pacifier because the little tender skin right under her nose immediately bruised up. I freaked out and called Robert home from work to let him look at it. We ended up sending a picture of the injury to Robert's dad, Dr. Pud, who assured us that if she's not fussing about it, which she no longer is (though she screamed for a few seconds there), then she's fine. In fact, she's been in a great mood the rest of the afternoon.

The truly worst part about it is that she is probably going to have this terrible bruised nose for her first birthday party, which is this Saturday! Waaaaah!
