A Roll Tide weekend

This weekend we went to Tuscaloosa for the Alabama-Arkansas game. The game was a night game, so we were able to bring Emily down to campus for some fun well in advance of the craziness. She got all dudded up in her John Parker Wilson jersey and we headed to the Quad. Emily loved the freedom to run around, and it was a beautiful day. We also got to take a family photo with Big Al!
And then Emily waved to Big Al on our way out.
Tailgaiting can really make a girl thirsty. (Shortly after this picture was taken, Emily spit up apple juice all over her Papa. Good business.)
Tailgaiting can also make a girl exhausted.
While we were waiting for Robert to go get the car so we could take Emily back to her grandparents' house while we went to the game, Emily had a lot of fun climbing up and down some parking garage stairs.

As for the actual game, it was a total nail-biter, but we were thrilled with the last minute victory. Roll Tide!
