Emily's doctor suggested that we introduce one new food at a time, and let Em have the new food for 4 or 5 days before introducing another food; that way, if she reacts badly to one of them, we'll know which food is the culprit. (He also suggested starting with fruit, then trying some yellow vegetables, and then green veggies.) Having had apples successfully for several days in a row, last night, we tried pears. They were a hit!

Emily gets frustrated with the process of eating her cereal with a spoon (but doesn't with the baby food), so we've started letting her drink her cereal in a bottle with a cereal nipple. This is what happened after she drank half of her cereal the other morning.

Cereal makes Emily tired!

Cereal tastes better with a bit of apples or pears mixed in with it...but the bottle method seemed to have worked. lynn
Such cute pictures. If she's anything like Robert just imagine how big her smile will be once she can have ranch dip :)!

She is so precious!! Love the after cereal pic!!! :)
It seems Emily is quickly learning that life seems to be about going from one meal to the next! Must be in her genes!
