Four months

Yesterday, Abby turned four months old! We celebrated by taking a couple of frame of reference pictures.Then Emily wanted in on the photo session.I also moved the Jumperoo inside to see if Abby liked it; she seems to like putting weight on her legs. She was intrigued.
I sort of think this picture makes it look like I can raise the straps some -- her feet would probably still touch at a taller height and she might actually be able to jump if it were a little taller.

Although no jumping took place, there was lots of eyeing and drooling.


Later, she eyed and drooled on her new giraffe.

And flashed her big blue eyes at me.


This morning we had our check-up. Abby measured 25" long (76th percentile), weighed 14 pounds, 3 ounces (63rd percentile), and had a head measurement of 41.2 cm (57th percentile). Other than not sleeping great still, we had a good report from the doc, and were cleared to start solids. Rice cereal (and hopefully sleeping through the night), here we come!
